Last-second trade change scam

ZekBy ZekUpdated September 6, 2026

Some scammers will agree to a trade, then remove an item or replace one of the same items at the last second before you accept. They rely on you confirming the trade without checking the final offer.

Warning Signs:

  • The other user repeatedly changes the trade
  • An item is removed just before confirmation
  • An item is replaced with another of the same type or appearance
  • The user rushes or pressures you to accept quickly

How to Stay Safe:

  • Always review the final trade before accepting
  • Double-check every item and quantity
  • Never let anyone rush you into confirming a trade
  • Cancel the trade if anything changes unexpectedly
  • Report and block users attempting to deceive you

Take a few extra seconds to review every trade. It could save you from losing valuable items.
