Warnings, Mutes, Bans & Appeals

If the rules are broken, moderators can take action. Here is what each action means and what to do if you think it was wrong.

The actions

  • Warning: a formal note that something you did broke the rules. No loss of access, but it is on record.
  • Mute: you can't post in certain areas for a time. Mutes can be scoped (for example, chat only, or social only) and can be permanent for repeat behavior.
  • Ban: you lose access to Bloxtsar. Bans can be temporary or permanent.

Serious offenses like scamming or doxxing skip the ladder and lead straight to a permanent ban. See the Community Guidelines.

If you are banned

You'll see a ban screen, which shows:

  • The reason for the ban.
  • A note from the moderator, when one is added.
  • The issue date and the expiry date, or "Never" if it is permanent.

Appealing a decision

If you believe a warning, mute, or ban was a mistake, you can appeal through Support. Open a ticket via bloxtsar.com/support and include:

  • What happened and when.
  • Why you think the decision was incorrect.
  • Any evidence that supports you (screenshots, context).

Be honest and specific. Appeals that just say "unban me" without any detail are hard to act on.

What appeals can't do

  • We can't restore items lost in a scam, even if the scammer is banned.
  • Decisions on clear-cut scamming or doxxing are very unlikely to be reversed.

Staying in good standing

The simple version: trade fairly, keep it on-platform, be respectful, and don't share personal info. Do that and you'll never see any of this.
