Why cross-trading and Real Money Trading (RMT) are banned

Bloxtsar allows one kind of trade: in-game items for other in-game items, within the same game, using the supported game's official trade system. Two things fall outside that line and are banned everywhere on the platform.

Cross-trading

Cross-trading is swapping items from one game for items in another game, for example an Adopt Me pet for a Murder Mystery 2 knife.

Why it's banned:

  • Values don't carry across games, which makes these trades easy to manipulate and hard to judge fairly.
  • They can't use a single game's official trade window, so one side always has to "go first", which is exactly where scams happen.

Real Money Trading (RMT)

RMT is trading items for anything with real-world value. That includes:

  • Cash, PayPal, Venmo, or any payment method
  • Robux, gift cards, or game currency
  • Accounts or premium subscriptions
  • Services like art, coding, or commissions
  • Physical goods or merchandise

Why it's banned:

  • It breaks Roblox's own rules and can put your Roblox account at risk.
  • Payments happen off-platform with no protection, so RMT is a leading source of scams and chargebacks.
  • It opens the door to fraud and underage-payment problems the platform won't host.

The simple test

If a trade involves anything outside the game's official trading system, it's not allowed. That also rules out trust trades and middleman deals.

What happens if you do it

Cross-trading and RMT count as abuse of platform systems. Consequences range from ad removal and feature restrictions up to a permanent, platform-wide ban across both Bloxtsar and our Discord. Scamming itself is zero-tolerance and results in a permanent ban. There is no "three strikes" system, and a single serious violation can be enough.
