Bot accounts & malicious links

We want to make the community aware of a scam method currently being used within trading communities.

This scam usually starts with a message similar to:

“BUYING UR WEAPONS FOR TOKENS”

The message may include a list of item prices and ask users to DM if interested. Once someone reaches out, the scammer may ask them to join a game and then send a suspicious or malicious link.

These links may be designed to steal your Roblox account information, session cookies, or gain unauthorized access to your account.

How to stay safe:

• Never click suspicious or unexpected links.
• Always verify links before opening them.
• Do not enter your Roblox login information on untrusted websites.
• Be cautious of users offering unusually high prices or “too good to be true” deals.
• Report suspicious messages, links, or users to staff immediately.
