How item values work

Majority of its tradeable item on Bloxtsar has a Value, the community reference price for that item in its game. It is the number you use to judge whether a trade is fair.

What "Value" is

Values are community driven. You'll see it on the Items catalog, item pages, trade ads, and the Calculator. It reflects what the item is generally worth to trade right now. It is not a live market price you can buy at.

Who sets the value

It depends on the game:

• Hand-curated games like Baddies and Blade Ball: our value team reviews the market and sets values by hand. Every change is logged and announced, so nothing moves silently.
• Auto-synced games like Murder Mystery 2, Adopt Me, and Flee the Facility: values are pulled automatically from an established external source and kept in sync.

Either way, the goal is the same: a consistent, trustworthy number the whole community can rely on.

Value vs. RAP

You'll often see two numbers on an item:

• Value: the curated or market value described above.
• RAP: Recent Average Price, based on real recorded sales. It moves with actual sales.

They answer different questions. Value is "what the community says it is worth to trade." RAP is "what it has actually been selling for." Learn more in Understanding RAP.

Track changes over time

• Value Changes: your game hub's feed of recent value updates (for example, Baddies Value Changes).
• Item history chart: each item page plots its Value and RAP history over ranges from a day to all-time. See Reading an item page.
