Using Messages (direct chat)

Messages is Bloxtsar's built-in chat, where you talk to other traders to line up deals before you meet in-game. Keeping the conversation on Bloxtsar means our safety tools have your back.

Starting a chat

Look for the Chat button. You'll find it on:

• Any user's profile.
• A trade ad, where Chat opens a trade-offer window so your offer travels with the message.

Tap Chat and the conversation opens. You need to be signed in.

Around the Messages page

Open Messages to see your conversations on the left and the open chat on the right. On mobile you see one at a time, with a back arrow to return to the list.

• Search your conversations with the search box.
• Unread chats show a count badge, and Read all marks everything read.
• Your name and status sit at the bottom left, where you can change your status or jump to settings.

Sending messages

• Type in the box (up to 1,000 characters) and press Enter to send.
• Attach up to 5 images per message (JPG, PNG, or WEBP) with the + button, or by pasting.
• You'll see when the other person is typing, and a Read tag appears under your last message once they've seen it.
• Long-press (or right-click) a message to react, reply, copy, or report it.

Your online status

Set your status from the menu at the bottom left: Online, Busy, Resting, or Invisible. It shows next to your name in chats. For more, see How to change your online status. You can also set an auto-reply for each status and manage message sounds.

Blocking and reporting

Every chat has safety tools in the header:

• The flag icon opens Report Chat. Pick a reason (Scamming, Link Scamming, Filter Bypassing, Hate Speech / Harassment, Dating / NSFW Content, or Other), add any details, and submit. Moderators review it.
• The ⋮ menu lets you Hide Chat, Mute Chat, and Block User. Blocking stops their messages and hides the conversation. See How to block or unblock a user.

Staying safe in chat

The golden rule: keep the whole trade on Bloxtsar. If someone asks to move to Discord or another site, tries to rush you, or offers something too good to be true, it's almost always a scam. Never share passwords or account codes, and don't click links. The first time you open Messages you'll see a short Chat Safety Rules card covering exactly this. Official inboxes

A few inboxes come from Bloxtsar itself (Official, Updates, and Support) and are read-only. The Support inbox becomes replyable when Support reaches out about one of your active reports.
